Welcome to KURSEONG COLLEGE LIBRARY

The College Library is housed in a separate three storied building with a spacious reading room having sitting accommodation for fifty readers in the ground floor, Circulation section and Science & Commerce stack room in the first floor and Arts stack room in the top floor. The library is managed by the Librarian, library support staff along with the Library Sub-Committee. The stock of both text and reference books in the library has undergone considerable expansion and exhaustive collection of more than 24,000 books which adequately meet the varied requirements of all students and Faculty members. There are almost 4950 issues of print journals in the library. Computers with internet facility are available in the library for students and faculties. In addition, departmental libraries are also maintained by the Department of Nepali, Geography, Zoology and Economics to meet the requirements of students and Faculty members. The library has subscribed online database NLIST from INFLIBNET which provides full text access to almost 100000+ e-books and 6500+ e-Journals for the faculties and students of the college. Apart from this, various links to access the OERs (Open Educational Resources) are also provided in the website.
